WELCOME TO SUMMER!

This is the first year in my ten years with Charbries that mother nature beat me to summer! Lets hope she doesn't beat me to winter! On this season's menu, Chef Lance Edwards has been inspired by the ONTARIO SUMMER BARBEQUE. He is sharing his special pork back rib dish as an appetizer, as well as Chicken Mojito and Strawberry Jerked Pork for entrees. Of course it just wouldn't be summer without some Lake Huron pickerel! I am happy to announce that Flambe Dishes are back and I am in full swing with Filet Mignon and Scampi Shrimp prepared for two and our Strawberry Rhubarb "Pie".

June is strawberry month and Team Charbries wil be filling up my pick up truck once again. Last year we picked 250 pounds and we served them all to you over the past year. We hope to beat that amount this year. We know it's summer when our shelves are empty and the freezer is bare, and we are ready to stock up with each fabulous summer crop as it comes in season.
